Clinical Data: A survey shows that there has 23780 patients in question in all who have been treated with Polymer Cast for their Closed Limbs Fracture , who aged from 70 to 15,average 47.5,including the male of 14697(61.8%) and the female of 9083(38.2%). All of them have received satisfied results.

Butterfly Fracture and Small bone comminuted fracture. 9678 case (40.7%) and except the 1367 cases soft tissue injury above other 2012 cases are not sure what kind of form of fracture. The rest is somewhat fracture deformity and angled malformation.
Cause of Injury:
There are 5945 cases by traffic accidents, and 2711 case by Heavy Weight bruised injury, 1023 cases by impact and crush, 11842 cases by tumble,1367 by wrench and the rest are 904. The 23780 injures fractures are all healed take from 4 weeks to 12 weeks, averaged 8 weeks.
The results: The effective rate of treatment with Polymer Casting is 100%, and the fine ratio is 91%, there has 14625 case in question has successfully gotten Anatomic reduction or closely at one time (61.5%). The counterpoint is 8418 case (35.4%) and the displacement is only 143 cases (0.6%). The delayed union is 380 cases (1.6%), the nonunion is 142 cases (0.6%) and the malunion is 71 cases only (0.3%), however, there is none of infection.
Conclusion: Polymer Bandage is made out of synthetic polymer material without any toxicity to human’s body. Since there has Polyurethane in the surface of the synthetic fiber which can protect the affected limb from syndromes caused by dampness and For its good strength, non supporting part of body only needs 2-3 layers and supporting part of body only 4-6 layers, so it has no effect for dressing in hot summer or cold winter.
With the superior gummosity in the each layer, the patients without any fear of deforming by her or him wearing polymer bandage for a long time, and any dermatrophia caused by pruritus, dysodia, and inflection because of the polymer bandage’s best air permeability. The polymer bandage can be used widely for it’s easy operation, that is which can be immersed in water for 2 or 3 second and be putted on spirally the affected body part without any additional aids, to be harden and moulded will be for 3 or 10 minutes separately. The patients suffer little for its lightweight,.
The affected limb fixed with polymer bandage can be directly X-rayed and took a photograph resulting in the clear image.
All in all, the poly bandage is widely used in clinically treatment for its plaster less than the traditional bandage’s by 3/5 with its price is a little higher than the latter.
